Pender Island (Otter Bay) is accessible by ferry sailings from both Vancouver (Tsawwassen) and Victoria (Swartz Bay). BC Ferries have regularly scheduled sailings 7 days a week making access very easy.

Washington State Ferries will take you from Anacortes to Sidney where you can connect through to Pender Island. Air transportation is also available from Washington State, Vancouver and Victoria. Contact Kenmore Air, Cooper Air, or Seair for more information.

Directions to Buck Lake Waterfront Cottage (see below for Shingle Bay)

From the ferry follow Otter Bay Road to end at Bedwell Harbor Road. Turn right on Bedwell and follow it past the Driftwood Center shopping centre. Stay to the right and proceed onto Aldridge Road and then a sharp right onto Schooner Way. Follow Schooner Way past the fire hall to the end of Magic Lake. Turn right onto Privateers Road. Make another right onto Signal Hill Road and then a left onto Spyglass Road. The Buck Lake Waterfront Cottage address is:

Directions to Shingle Bay Waterfront Cottage

From the ferry follow Otter Bay Road to end at Bedwell Harbor Road. Turn right on Bedwell and follow it past the Driftwood Center shopping centre. Stay to the right and proceed onto Aldridge Road and then a sharp right onto Schooner Way. Follow Schooner Way past the fire hall to the end of Magic Lake. Turn right onto Privateers Road. After a couple of kilometers, turn right onto Shoal then right again onto Dory. Dory joins Galleon Way. Continue down the hill to Harpoon Road. The Shingle Bay Cottage address is:
